GINKO FILM

Ginko Film is a film and audiovisual production company with a deep commitment to documentry cinema. Founded in 2018 by Chiara Andrich, Andrea Mura and Giovanni Pellegrini, all trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italy's national film school), Ginko Film brings stories from the real world to the screen.

The company's name is inspired by the Ginkgo tree, an extraordinarily resilient plant that has survived the extinction of the dinosaurs and the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. The Ginkgo is also celebrated for its medicinal properties, and its ever-changing leaves have inspired artists across cultures and centuries.

Ginko Film believes that films, like Ginkgo trees, can be both beautiful and enduring, capable of moving people deeply and standing the test of time.
